Heat Networks

Heat networks schemes are the supply of heat from a central energy source to more than one building, including residential (individual houses & blocks of social housing), commercial, public and mixed use developments.

Pre insulated pipes are most often buried in the ground, delivering heat from the energy centre to every building on the network.

Along with delivering a low carbon solution, heat networks are cost effective and in most cases can help to reduce fuel poverty whilst enhancing comfort levels.

British Gas Heat Networks team specify the highest design of insulated pipe for low heat losses, typically less than 5%, with a long life expectancy.
